This topic still divides the scientific field (and the less scientific field, namely Internet discussion forums…): which method of training is optimal for fat loss and muscle tissue preservation, interval training or aerobic training? Interval training (Tabata, HIIT, etc.) is commonly associated with short training sessions lasting a few minutes, with alternating work and recovery phases. Aerobic training workouts usually last for 30 minutes upwards, performed with a moderate pace.
